Alibaba, one of the giants of the e-commerce industry, will enter the Metaverse through TaoLive City. A project created together with Taobao and Diantao.
Despite the complex economic environment of the cryptocurrency industry, the Metaverse market has continued to grow in 2022. And it is expected to continue to do so in 2023.
Early next year, Alibaba, China’s huge private conglomerate, announced plans to make its debut in the Metaverse. Together with Taobao and Diantao, they are launching TaoLive City, created in November during the Double 11 Shopping Festival.
Within this new project, users will be able to create a virtual avatar and enter the Metaverse where they can make purchases, interact with other users and participate in contests.
